My trip to Florida

Florida is going to be lots of fun. I'm going to Disney World next week. I will see all the Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse and friends, and lots of more characters from Disney. I have my autograph book that my Uncle Karl gave me, and Mickey Mouse and all his friends will sign it for me. Winnie The Pooh will be there as well with all his friends, including Tigger, and Eeyore. I am going to stay in a hotel with my mom, dad and my grandmother for an entire week. I am going to pack my autograph book, my swimtrunks and my snorkel mask. On the airplane, I will have a lot of snacks to eat. I will be really happy when I get to Walt Disney World.

Tell me the difference between compound and simple sentences

A compound sentence has three words, "and, "or", or "but". A simple sentence does not have these three words. An example for a compound sentence is, "I'd love to do that, but I cannot because everyone has to let me do my job." An example for a simple sentence is, "The referee was blowing his whistle, signaling the end of the game."

How to show respect

At our school we are not laughing at our friends. We are also using polite words like I always do to our friends and teachers. We are also helping our friends who fell to the ground, letting them get back up again, and they say, "Thank you!". It is really important to be kind, respectful and responsible. It's nice to use a nice tone of voice as well.

What I did on my day off

I slept really late in my bed because I did not have to get up early for play practice. I got really sick yesterday, and I have the comman cold. That means I'm not feeling too good today. That is why I do not like getting sick because of this sickness I have to go to the doctor with my mom.
